About the Author
Sydney Edelbrock received her BFA from University of Puget Sound with a major in creative writing. She has completed 45 credit hours of graduate work at Portland State University focusing on Medieval and Victorian literature. Sydney has been writing novels since the seventh grade after she consumed all the books in the library and reading lab and ran out of reading material. Her house is filled to the ceiling with books and manuscripts in varying degrees of completion.
Sydney currently works at a large insurance company reviewing medical records. This gives her ample opportunity to work closely with physician consultants who don’t get grossed out when she asks strange questions like: How much blood can you lose and still live? (about half) and How much force does it take to chop off a human head? (about 50 pounds of force). Sydney resides in Portland, Oregon with two neurotic cats. She studies Mo Duk Pai kung fu and is often sore and covered in bruises.
